Matthew (Matt) Burt, Consultant, joined KCG in March of 2024. In his position, he will assist the team in delivering operational optimization and performance improvement engagements. His background and experience involves analytics strategy and delivery to solve complex healthcare problems through data-driven insights.
Prior to working at KCG, Burt spent 4.5 years in management and technology consulting at Accenture in the Data and AI practice group. During his time at Accenture, he was a primary contributor on analytics strategy and delivery workstreams for mid to large market health payer systems across the country. Notable engagements included an enterprise data strategy and cloud platform proposal, a technology and analytics process enablement framework, and the development of a suite of business intelligence products to serve operational performance improvement efforts. Burt regularly facilitated internal employee engagement and philanthropic efforts, serving as the Charlotte area coordinator for a nationwide housing insecurity fundraiser.
Burt received an M.Eng. and B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Clemson University. He enjoys spending his free time cycling, running, scuba diving, and doing anything that gets him outdoors.
