Katie Wagner joined KCG as a Consultant in August 2022, supporting the consulting team on various strategy and performance projects, including overseeing large-scale healthcare initiatives. At KCG, she led the build, operationalization, and activation of a $100 million Behavioral Health hospital. During the facility’s proposal phase, she conducted market analyses to assess and validate the demand for services in the region. Wagner also established a joint governance and decision-making structure to strengthen partnerships among community entities involved in the hospital’s development, with a focus on metrics and performance tracking to ensure the facility’s longevity, mission, and accessibility.

Prior to joining KCG, Wagner served as Associate Administrator at HCA Healthcare’s Trident Medical Center, where she led multiple departments and drove operational optimization projects. She collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to achieve care delivery goals, improve quality metrics, and streamline processes to enhance employee engagement and manage costs.

Wagner holds both an MHA and a BA from the University of Florida. She enjoys the outdoors and hiking with her pup, Romeo as well as exploring Charleston’s restaurant scene with her husband, Matthew.
