Lauren Johnson
Prior to joining KCG, Lauren Johnson served as a legislative affairs intern with the South Carolina Coalition for Healthy Families and the New Morning Foundation. In this role, Johnson researched and promoted women’s reproductive health policy in the South Carolina General Assembly. While working closely with organization directors, she played an integral role in planning and organizing meetings and events for coalition members and advocates. Johnson also served as a legislative affairs intern for the South Carolina Senate Medical Affairs Committee where she aided in tracking legislation and addressing constituent communications.
Johnson is a cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina where she earned a B.A. in Public Relations and Political Science. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Administration at the College of Charleston with a focus in Non-Profit Administration.
